I think we all forget that our parents weren’t always our parents. They were people growing and learning from life the way we do ourselves. They’ve always made mistakes because at the end of the day, they’re their own people with their own personalities and experiences. When we meet them, we have this instant connection to them and believe that they can do no wrong. But they can, they have, and they always will. Because even though they’re parents, they’re still people navigating through this thing called life trying to find their way.
